About
Me
I am employed as a full-stack Software Developer but my education is in theology.
My primary focus and interest in software is in service/microservice/API development, mainly written in Go and deployed in Docker containers. My work takes me to and through several other platforms and languages, including Salesforce, React, and Python. I have been working in software development for just over three years.
I grew up attending pentecostal, evangelical churches. I graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2008 with a degree in Pastoral Christian Ministry, minoring in Old Testament Literature and Languages. My main interests there were biblical languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek), ministry with/within LGBTQ communities, and faith applied as ethic and action. In the summer of 2015 I completed a rather slow ten-year journey into the Episcopal Church.
This Site
I set this up as a place where I can write about all of my interests.
The best way to build a personal brand using a blog like this is to write about a single, focused topic. I'm not going to do that.
